M99 Pro 2

The high beam of the 16-LED matrix with up to 3,000 lumens and 450 lux sets new standards. The headlight is also an intelligent control center that manages components with short -term high power consumption, such as a horn or USB. A light sensor automatically switches in a fraction of a second between the new SMD LED daytime running light module and the low beam. The completely newly designed aluminum housing and the hardened front glass protect the optics and electronics from all environmental influences with protection class IP 67.

TL3 Pro

The TL3 PRO is the first SUPERNOVA tail light with a sensor brake light and an emergency strobe. A high-precision 3-axis sensor controls the brake light and thus works for the first time without special brake levers. During braking, the taillight becomes almost 70% brighter. The glistening, bright, homogeneous signature of the TL3 PRO, with 32 LEDs behind a fine light guide made of high-tech diffusion material, provides an impressive warning effect with the highest luminance, which is also exceptionally visible from the side.

Mini 3 Pro

Now with optional 21W mode for even more power in the high beam! No other headlight system for e-bikes offers such a homogeneous light of around 10 m wide, thanks to an innovative lens technology based on 200 micro-optics. The light conductors integrated in the front ring of the Mini 3 Pro generate an unmistakable daytime running lights. The new automatic light reacts to brightness changes for automatic change between low and daytime running lights. The high beam now reaches up to 1100 lm and 190 LX in the new, optionally programmable 21 W operation and the low beam is almost twice as bright as the previous Mini 2 Pro model.

Which lights will integrate with my ebike?

Most e-bikes can run a Supernova light. Supernova e-bike lights run from your e-bike battery through the motor light port, so they switch on with the bike. They work with most e-bike systems, including the Bosch Smart System (BES3), older Bosch systems (BES2), Shimano EP6 and Shimano EP8. You need the Supernova power cable that matches your motor. The M99 Pro 2 runs on 12V and, on the Bosch Smart System, needs the Power Boost Connector for full high-beam output. The V521s runs on 5 to 21 volts and fits all Bosch drives. Can I run a dynamo hub with a Supernova light?

Yes. Supernova makes 6V dynamo versions of its lights, including the M99 DY Pro, E3 Pro 2 and E3 Pure 3 headlights and the E3 Tail Light 2 and TL3 Mini dynamo tail lights. The M99 DY Pro works with any standard 6V/3W hub dynamo and reaches up to 1,000 lumens with its high beam. With the Schmidt SONdelux hub it only reaches full power and high beam at higher speeds. Supernova dynamo headlights send 6V DC to the tail light, so pair them with a Supernova dynamo tail light, because many other brands need AC. We also sell SP (Shutter Precision) dynamo hubs and can build the hub into a wheel for you.

How long do the battery versions last?

It depends on the model and the brightness setting. Supernova B54 battery lights use a 54 Wh battery pack rated for up to 50 hours of light at the lowest setting, and recharge in about 2.5 hours with a 2A charger. The smaller Airstream 2 runs about 2.5 to 7 hours depending on the mode. The high beam drains any battery much faster than the low beam. If you ride an e-bike or use a dynamo hub, a Supernova e-bike or dynamo light runs as long as you ride, with no charging.

How do the high and low beams work?

The low beam is your main riding beam. It has a sharp upper cut-off that lights the road without dazzling oncoming traffic, and it is approved under the German StVZO road code. A magnetic high-beam button on your handlebar switches between low beam and high beam. On the M99 Pro 2, the low beam is 500 lumens (130 lux) and the high beam is up to 3,000 lumens (450 lux). Full high-beam output on the Bosch Smart System needs the Power Boost Connector. The M99 DY Pro dynamo headlight reaches up to 1,000 lumens. The M99 Pro 2 needs the high-beam switch and a switch mount, sold separately; the M99 DY Pro includes both. Use the high beam only when no one is coming toward you.
