A semi-DIY motor node for Bosch Gen 5 (2-bolt) drive units. You'll receive this in a few pieces. It's then up to you to do the final welding (or brazing) on it. The sheet metal part is precision-cut and bent, and has four small welds to complete. It's made from 0.104" / ~2.6 mm A36/1008 cold-rolled steel. The 1018 steel inserts are machined to take care of all the critical details and tolerances, are keyed so they only fit on the correct side of the sheet metal part, and are silver brazed or welded in place.
